OUR POLICIES
Hot Spotz Bengals is a proud accredited member and TRIPLE registered cattery of TICA, CFA, REFR feline associations for over 20 years (Est. 2000)! All breeding cats and kittens are fully registered, purebred, pedigreed felines. We are cared for by UC Davis and Optimal Selection by Wisdom Panel, PCR testing by IDEXX and Zoologix, a DVM Board Certified Cardiologist Doctor, and a Veterinary Hospital. All of our cats in our breeding program are periodically and extensively genetic health screened & tested for, but is not limited to; FIV/FeLV (Feline Immunodeficiency & Leukemia Virus), PK Deficiency (Hemolytic Anemia), PKD1 (Polycystic Kidney Disease), PRA-b (Bengal Blindness), and HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy-Heart Disease), at appropriate age or by parentage and various parasites. All kittens/cats are sold with a legally binding contract & health warranty signed by the Breeder and new owner. Our first priority is the health and happiness of our kittens and cats, and our policies are designed to reflect that priority.

If you are interested in one of our kittens, the first step is to contact us & fill out our kitten/cat application form and let us know of your interest in our Bengals. If your interest can be met, and Hot Spotz Bengals is certain you can provide a quality home for one of our Bengals, the next step is to send in a deposit with the signed purchase contract, then followed by sending in the final balance owed two weeks before kitten is released if paying by check or with cash or Zelle the day of pickup. The final step is to take your new precious kitten home!
(Kittens must be paid in full and Hot Spotz Bengals must have a signed purchase contract before leaving for their new homes.)

All of our kittens are house raised and underfoot, come with a written health guarantee, socialized, weaned onto solid food, litter trained, appropriate core vaccinations, dewormed, and vet checked all before leaving for a new home.
Kittens are held by deposit only and deposits are non-refundable or transferable. Kittens are held on a first deposited, first reserved basis. Deposits are $300 for pet kittens and $500 for breeder/show kittens. After placing a deposit down, updates & new photos of your kitten will be emailed to you occasionally until your Bengal is ready to go to its new home.
Deposits and/or payment for kittens can be made by Paypal, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo sent via: friends and family (not goods or services), cashier's check, money order, personal check, and cash. Balance owed must be paid in full 2 weeks before the kitten is released to the new owner if paying by check or with cash or Zelle the day of pickup. NO cash refunds.
If for some reason, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to provide you with your selected kitten after placing your down payment, your deposit will then be applied towards another kitten/litter of comparable quality and value as available, made at our discretion.
If you adopt one of our Bengals as a pet companion, it must be spayed/neutered and a TICA Registration Certificate that is officially designated "NOT FOR BREEDING, NOT FOR SHOWING" will be provided after we receive a veterinarian's certificate of desexing. A top quality show pet's TICA Registration Certificate will state only "NOT FOR BREEDING" on the slip.
Kittens for breeding/showing come with full TICA registration. Breeding/show rights will be sold strictly to established registered cattery programs.
NOTE: WE DO NOT SELL ANY KITTENS AS BREEDERS IN MI
Our kittens will be approximately 12-16 weeks of age before sending them to their new home.
In the best interest of the kittens we do NOT ship and they must be picked up in person at our home. We prefer to meet every new owner in person and only allow in-person selections and pick-ups of our kittens/cats.
VISITOR POLICY
VISITS ARE LIMITED TO CLIENT PREPAID DEPOSIT HOLDERS ONLY
Please note our Bengal cattery is also our home and we are NOT a retail pet store or public zoo open to the public! We get multiple requests daily to come visit our kittens & cats and we simply cannot accommodate that kind of traffic in our home because it is simply a health risk to our cats by having possible illnesses being brought in that could expose our kittens & cats inadvertently. This is for our cats and buyers protection as well. We offer a health guarantee on our kittens, and we could not do that confidently if we had high visitation traffic through our home and cattery. If there is another new litter arriving, visits are not recommended. Our available kittens may be viewed by appointment (48 hours+ in advance) for serious purchasers only after they are fully weaned and have received their first & second core vaccinations/dewormings by 11-12 weeks of age, if we still have any available (most are sold by that time) and client has submitted to us our kitten application, deposit and contract in place on a particular kitten to reserve it. The deposit must be paid in advance/prior to the visit and it is applied towards the total price of the kitten. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SELLING A KITTEN/CAT PRIOR TO LEAVING OUR HOME IF WE FEEL THAT IT IS NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF OUR KITTENS/CATS. WE TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN PLACING OUR KITTENS/CATS IN THE MOST LOVING HOMES WHERE THEY WILL RECEIVE THE LOVE AND ATTENTION THEY DESERVE- COMPANION & BREEDER. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE!
